My Wiccan friend has selected and consecrated this pendulum necklace with a powerful "Divination" spell. This spell will assist the pendulum's ability to offer clear and accurate answers to one's questions. She says that by calling upon the assistance of higher beings and universal energies this spell allows the pendulum to become "more than just a divination piece, and instead a powerful tool that will allow one insight and information about their life and those around them".
She also says that one should only use the pendulum when in a calm and neutral mental state. Then one should ask the pendulum to show you a "yes" and note the direction it swings. Then one should ask the pendulum a not question and note the direction that it swings. She says that the direction a pendulum swings for a "yes" answer or a "no" answer is usually differs and depends on the individual. She also adds that the pendulum's swings can also change and vary from time to time, so one may need to check periodically to see if the yes and no swings remain the same.
