The Silver Star was originally a service of the Seaboard Air Line's fleet running from New York to Miami and later also St. Petersburg. It was inaugurated December 12, 1947, more than 2 years after the end of World War II to replace the Advance Silver Meteor. It carried routing from New York to Florida in conjunction with the Pennsylvania and Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac.

This pocket timetable measures 2-1/2" folded with only a corner bend on back side and previously hinged to a photo album.
