In his acrylic paintings, this New Mexico artist imaginatively recreates Native Americans from the past, using genuine trappings and artifacts, together with symbolic imagery. DOROTHY CUTTER by Georgina Ellen Challis. Working with nontoxic paints that she produces herself according to a secret formula, Cutter paints bright room interiors and floral arrangements on canvas. Here this California artist describes how she trained as an artist while raising a family.

N. C. WYETH CENTENNIAL EXHIBIT by M. Stephen Doherty. A centennial exhibition of N.C. Wyeth's paintings focuses attention on art collections in the Brandywine River region of Pennsylvania and Delaware and on the problems faced by artists/illustrators.
