About The Record:

Keith Robinson started as a teenager out of high school, playing guitar in a band. Then he filled in for a musician who got sick, in a top 40 band called High Octane in the late 70s, when musicians could actually make a living in “cover” bands, touring everywhere. Robinson toured Canada from ’77 until ’80. One night, while on break, he heard an amazing guitar player in a rock/jazz fusion band. The guitarist said he attended the Berklee School of Music. “So I thought, ‘that’s me, I’m going there.’” The determined, hardworking Robinson applied and got in. From Berklee in Boston and the musical Dancing in the Streets to working with Kevin Sweat in NYC and recording this album, Perfect Love, things just started to happen, musically.
