Sale is for a vintage 1940-50's NU-TREND by CORY ~ "SPICE 'n LITE SET" in original box. Includes salt and pepper shakers and a flint lighter. These appear to have never been used and have been stored since purchase. On the bottom of each item is marked "NU-TREND by CORY, AA+ Siliverplate, U.S.A." Shakers are 2.5" tall and the lighter is 2.75" tall. I don't know if the lighter works as I haven't tested it. The interiors of the s & p shakers are tarnished, as is the exteriors of all three items. This set is unique as they have are scenes of windmills, sailboats, and a figure with a church in the background. The other Spice 'n Lite Sets I've seen online are much simpler - smooth and in the shape of a small teapot. I'm listing this as new as it's never been used, but time has left it's mark on both the box and the items.
