This listing is for 3 vintage dress or scarf clips. These belonged to my Mom and I'm not sure when she purchased them, my guess would be late 1960s to early 1980s but I can't say for sure. Although they are unsigned they are quality pieces. All of the rhinestones are prong set in all three of the clips. I have been unable to find any that are similar on any of my searches. I will describe each in detail below. All of them are in excellent vintage condition with almost no wear to them as you can see by the enlarged pictures. All have lovely faux or imitation pearl centers.
Simulated or faux tear drop shaped pearl centerpiece in an ornate rhinestone and gold crown like setting. There are a few slight surface scratches on the pearl center that are only visible with magnification. All the rhinestones are bright and shiny. It measures approximately 1 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide.
Round silver tone flower or snowflake design metal clip with an open work heart design that surrounds the round pearl center. All the rhinestones are prong set. Measures approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Snowflake design gold tone clip with center round faux pearl. Gold textured circle surrounds the pearl and prong set rhinestones surround the center and the outer bands. Measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. There is a little flaking of the gold on the inside part of the clip closure where it hinges up and down (not on the brooch part itself but on the clip).
All three of these scarf or dress clips would make a great addition to your collection of vintage accessories and perfect to add that touch of class to dress up any outfit. The smooth clasps on the back allow you to clip them anywhere without damaging your fabric. They would look great on a v-neck sweater, wearing with a shawl or on the front v of that little black dress. These are not just for scarves, use your imagination.
