This is an unopened vintage complete Counted Cross Stitch Kit. This is the Serendipity Designs, MarBek Line, copyright 1992. This is a gorgeous Cross Stitch Kit called “Arcadian Angel”. This was their 1992 Angel and she is generally used in a set with Snow Angel, Windermere Angel, and Woodland Angel. This MarBek collection of designs is most famous for the creation of one new angel design a year. I believe the designer was Becky Waldrop. She is known for her use of color, bold use of metallic threads, and her delicate interpretations of faces and clothing. If you visit the Serendipity Website you will be able to view more of the Angels. The Design Size is 7 ¾” x 7 ¾”, the Framed Size is 12” x 14 ½”. The kit includes: 100% cotton 18 count Aida fabric, cotton floss, Balger Blending Filiment, #24 tapestry needle, chart and instruction. It would make a great gift for anyone who loves Angels. What a great opportunity to get a quality embroidery kit at a reasonable price. It would make a great finished Christmas gift for that special someone.
