Item description for Antique CUPID CAPTIVE NUDE BRONZE STATUE Figurine CHARLES A. FRAIKIN 1817-1893

Beautiful Nude Lady with Cupid named "CUPID CAPTIVE" Bronze Statue. CHARLES AUGUSTE FRAIKIN 1817 -1893. FRAIKIN engraved on statue and looks like E2c Labiouc 8th on the other side.

From my research on the internet this is a very rare bronze statue dating 1851. There is damage to the right arm of the cupid and the nude lady. I have shown this in the last picture with yellow lines.

I am sure that this can be repaired better. Other then that statue is in very good condition.

As with any piece this old it is dusty and dirty in the nooks and crannies from years of display, I will leave the cleaning up to the buyer.

Measures about 22 inches high and 11 inches in the center, base is 8 inches wide.

I will be adding a custom framed woodblock print of this statue to my sale also.

I will try to find the best and cheapest way to ship this as it is about 23 pounds plus packing.
