Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the popular 1970's crime drama/mystery thriller, ST. IVES, released in 1976 by Warner Bros. and directed by J. Lee Thompson. Charles Bronson is Raymond St. Ives, a crime writer hired by gentleman thief Abner Procane (John Houseman) to find the stolen plans for his next big heist. The cast includes John Houseman, Maximillian Schell, and Elisha Cook Jr.

The poster features great artwork that depicts a large shot of Raymond St. Ives (Charles Bronson) casually smoking a pipe as he lights a $100 bill on fire that is held behind him by beautiful Janet Whistler (Jacqueline Bisset), who is also holding a gun. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in fine+ condition with thin yellowed vertical scotch tape stain in the border of the bottom right panel; light signs of wear along various portions of the foldlines; and very small creases scattered across the surface from handling. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.

The New York Times said that this movie had a central character which was "the kind of private eye role that Humphrey Bogart used to do." The Overlook Film Encyclopedia: The Gangster Film book states that Swedish auteur director Ingmar Bergman visited the set during production and apparently exclaimed that the movie's star, Charles Bronson, was "scandalously underestimated."
