You are bidding on a Rare Beautiful Near Mint Swarovski Crystal Brooch Created by Wendy Gell. Measures 2.5". Still in original plastic bag with Item # DP06 00 171 label. Never worn, never removed from bag except to take picture in ad. Mickey has been in cool storage for almost 30 years.

Wendy Gell's Disney figures are highly coveted for their imagination and unique take on our favorite Disney characters. Gell has been designing jewelry for over 30 years and her pieces are handmade. She was in partnerhsip and designed for Disney for 5 years.

The book Inside the Jewelry Box, Volume 2 devotes pages 17-21 on Gell and her jewelry. This brooch is Wendy Gell's famous Mickey Mouse known as Puttin on the Ritz. His face and gloves are white enamel, his pants and shoes are black enamel and he is embellished with sparkling ruby red rhinestone top hat and coat. Clear crystals are set at the top of his topcoat and the top of his shoes. Mickey is holding a black cane and a huge smile on his face.

Many famous celebrities including Elton John, Cher, Elizabeth Taylor, Madonna and Hillary Clinton have purchased Gell's jewelry. Her jewelry has been featured in countless magazines as well.

Mickey measures 2.5" x 2". Mickey is in Near Mint Condition with no real flaws to note. Mickey has been in its original packaging since purchased some 30 years ago and has never been word or used.
