Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy restrike photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken, but one printed from the original negative at a later time) from the classic 1920's silent film crime drama thriller, THE UNKNOWN, released in 1927 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Tod BrowningA criminal on the run (Lon Chaney) hides in a circus and seeks to possess the beautiful daughter (Joan Crawford) of the ringmaster (Nick De Ruiz) at any cost.

The image features an interior nighttime shot at the circus camp and depicts the cruel circus owner, Zanzi (Nick De Ruiz, far left), as Costra (Frank Lanning), watches him and Chaney's criminal accomplice, Cojo (John George, right, facing camera), plays cards with other circus people. It is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws. As it was printed from the original negative, the image quality is razor-sharp with very fine detail and great contrast.
