Description
This is a book of printed photographs from a trip beginning in the Great Lakes and ending in Western Washington state. The year was 1914, so the means of transportation shown in the book are boat, car, and trains.
The 36 full-page sepia pictures are obviously professional quality. Most are taken in very rural areas, so they must have been very challenging to capture with the equipment available at the time.
The only color picture is the one on the cover. It appears to be hand-tinted, but I can't tell for certain.
SIZE: This softcover book is 12" by 10".
BACKGROUND: This book is among some things I purchased from a friend many years ago and just came across. I'll be continuing to list things from her over the next several weeks.
