Description
This is a small treen (wood) folk art plate with hand painted brightly colored flowers. There are words in Italian around the edge on the front and on the back. I haven't been able to decipher them. It appears that the front is varnished, as it has a high sheen.
SIZE: The diameter of this plate is 6".
BACKGROUND: I recently bought a large number of older household, decorative, and personal items from a neighbor who has moved in with her daughter. I'll be continuing to list things from this source over the next several weeks. According to the daughter, a friend brought this plate to her mother as a gift from a trip to Italy about 30 years ago.
