ALEXANDER HAMILTON

BY RON CHERNOW

HARDCOVER (VG+) & DUST JACKET (G)

1ST EDITION, 8TH PRINTING.  BY PENGUIN PRESS, 818 PAGES.

This hardcover book is very clean and is likely unread.  It is very clean and structurally sound (the binding is sound and the boards are in good condition).

The book has no internal markings, no unpleasant odor and has no previous ownership markings.  The pages of the book are clean and bright - mark free.

The bottom page edges have a small red remainder dot (pictured).

The outer page edges have a premium rough deckle cut.  All page edges are free of soiling and foxing - none whatsoever.  This is a very clean book.

The blank white end papers are clean and mark free - like new.

The only issue that the book itself really has it the aforementioned remainder dot on the bottom page edges.

The dust jacket is unclipped.  The jacket has no tears but does have two or three notable areas of wear (all of which are pictured).  Note, in particular, the small tear around the bottom of the front panel as it wraps around the front board, and also a small area of abrasion on the top back corner of the spine panel.

The jacket has been mended from the inside in two places to mitigate the flaws and to prevent any further degradation in the condition of the jacket.

The jacket has a bit of sticker residue on the bottom center of the rear panel.  This is due to the removal of a retail price sticker.  This residue is confined to the area of the bar code on the rear jacket panel (pictured).
