(2) Two Large Antique Cabinet Card Photographs. Identified as John Hooper, and his wife Frances Goodwin Hooper. Writing on back spells her name the masculine way as "Francis." Photographer and location not stated, but found at a flea market in Maine. Measure approximately 8 x 10 each including mount. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. They have some wear and foxing as shown and tape repair on one corner of reverse side. Comments: A curious handwritten note was included with these photos, but we can't entirely understand the connection. Nonetheless, the note will be included. It reads, "Frances Hobbs brother Dominicus Goodwin was the hero of the prize story 'The Silver Tankard' which appeared in the 'Youth's Companion' (magazine) on June 22, 1893."
