Here is a pair of vintage Dutch boy and girl salt and pepper shakers. They are marked "Japan" on the bottom. The boy measures approximately 3 inches, the girl is slightly taller because the tip of her hat goes higher, so she measures closer to 3 1/2 inches. Both are missing their cork or rubber stoppers on the bottom. They have some imperfections such as spots where the paint was mis-applied, paint rubs, scuffing or other manufacturing or age-related flaws.
