This is for use in a Sanyo VTC-8200 V-Cord Dual Speed VCR, and VTC7100 Portable Video Cassette Recorder.
Not Beta or VHS - this was it's own breed of video format that didn't really catch on, Beta and VHS were the dominant formats and continued to be until VHS won out.
