There were days when hair was in a complicated do and a rain bonnet was a necessity. They were carried around until needed in ladies purses and raincoat pockets. This one is in a little plastic hat box with a plastic flower in a vase on the front and "rain bonnet" written across it. On the reverse the logo of "Southeast National Bank" appears. They were around for 10 years or so. It was the result of a consolidation of two banks; Delaware County National Bank and National Bank of Chester County & Trust Company that was bought later by Philadelphia National Bank I believe and is now merged into the Wells Fargo Bank. The little hat box is about 1 1/4 inches across. It has a pink rain bonnet inside. Normally rain bonnets were clear plastic. I am certain it was never worn. The logo has a small imperfection.
