Detective Carter (Tucker) travels to Hong Kong with his new buddy, Detective Lee for a much needed vacation where they get involved in a criminal conspiracy. Somebody just blew up the American Embassy...and all the evidence points to the organized crime network, the Triad. Pursued by a deadly female assassin (Zhang Ziyi, 'House of Flying Daggers'), dodging explosions and trailing millions in counterfeit bills, our heroes find themselves in a chaotic mixture of wild comedy and non-stop action.

Chan does a fine job with his duties, which are to continue to amusingly mangle the English language, and do some more of those great martial-arts stunts. He gets some help in the acrobatics martial-arts department from Ziyi, John Lone, and a nice cameo by Don Cheadle.
