Star Wars Trilogy Limited Edition Widescreen DVD set. The original trilogy: Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. These were released in 2006 and contain the original, unaltered, non Special Edition versions of the films, the versions George Lucas wants everyone to forget ever existed. Han shoots first, Luke tells R2-D2 he's lucky he doesn't taste very good, the original songs from the Max Rebo band and the Ewok celebration are back, and all of the added CGI crap from 1997 is gone. Tons of other little changes, too many to list. Google if you're curious. Point is, if you grew up in the 1970s or 1980s, these are the versions you remember. The Force is strong with this collection.
Each case contains two discs, one with the original theatrical versions, and one with the 1997 "Special Edition", in case you want to see the results of the flannel devouring part of George's brain. Return of the Jedi is missing the liner notes inside the case, but the other two films have theirs. The cases, discs and liner notes are all in excellent condition.
