I don't know the history of the railroad advertising lighters that I have.  They may have been a purchase on the train or they could have been a service award to an employee, or a giveaway to a vendor.  I don't know if it works but the finish and logo are in good shape.  It is primarily red with the railroad logo in the center.  Overall it has a silver like finish.
