Whilst on a cycling holiday in Cornwall UK, I came across this abandoned tin mine building.
Tin has been mined in Cornwall since Roman times, and this picture shows a pretty typical scene of such disused mines that you can see dotted all round Cornwall.
Since it was a nice evening with a decent sunset that gave a warm glow to the stones, I decided to recreate this in my painting.
I print my original watercolour onto best quality 140lb 300gsm watercolour paper, then touch it up with my watercolours to 'freshen it up ', thus you are getting a 'semi-original' watercolour !
I post it to you unframed, Special Delivery Tracked, in a boarded envelope, wrapped in plastic for extra protection.
Delivery about a week to ten days.
