Very unique piece of china made by Meito in Japan. Hand painted with back stamped gold paint. The gold gilding on it is awesome. You can feel the design on this bowl because the gold is very thickly painted on it. Has only GOLD in the design. I do not know the pattern and after some research this pattern is not common. Even replacements have no idea what it is called. Patterns like this have colored flowers in it but not this one. Meito China was produced back in the 40's. Back reads: MEITO CHINA...HAND PAINTED IN JAPAN. With a crown emblem.
