1 - "Belle of Georgia" Peach Fruit Tree - "Standard Size" - Ships Now

Note: Last year they sold out fast, so plan ahead... and order soon.

The trees are dormant now, and they were carefully lifted from the beds, checked and cleaned, then put into cold storage. Then, as the order is prepared, they will be checked and packed as bare root. We best ship these when they are dormant, so order from Now through early Spring. About 18+ inches tall... very nice.

The Peaches are very popular nearly nationwide. They can grow in most climates and growing conditions, from the dry desert to colder northern regions, in most soils. Plant them in the landscape design where they can be seen. This pear has white flowers in the Spring, and produces sweet fruit in late Summer. Good for eating, but pies and jam can be done also. Plant singly or in lines or groups. Hardy from USDA Plant Zones 5 to 10, and heights can get 10 to 30 feet tall. Prefers full sun, moderate water, most soils.

Yes... this is the "Belle of Georgia" Peach variety (Prunus spp.), a good hardy type, grown from "budding" or/and "grafts". Self-pollinating, but you might have best success planting with another variety. We also offer the "Harvester" and "red Haven" varieties.

This tree is 2 year olds, not much for roots (which is normal), typically a single stem, but good hardy plants checked before packing.

Always best to add a thick mulch layer. Having a thick layer of mulch helps to conserve soil moisture, keeps the weeds down, and helps recycle the nutrients. A thick mulch layer also moderates the soil temperatures, which then reduces the stress on the roots.

Plan on this:

If you live in the Southern half of the country, order starting November, and take delivery right away. Plant (or pot) the tree right away. You can plant as long as your ground is not frozen. Put a thick layer of mulch around it. Get planted by mid-April before the weather gets too warm for us to ship.

If you live in the Northern half of the country, order during the late Winter, and take delivery early. Pot up your tree and hold it in a dark, cool, moist location, that will get a minimal amount of light and some moisture, but cool enough to keep it dormant until you can plant it outdoors. Plant as soon as your ground thaws. After planting, put a thick layer of mulch around it.

Payment: Best with Etsy payment, but we also accept PayPal.

Shipping: Priority Mail, will have tracking. When the ship label is printed, it will automatically send you a tracking number and information. These ship right away, sometimes there are delays due to weather or the busy spring season, but your order will be sent as quickly as possible.

Guarantee: We can only assure that you will receive your order as quickly as possible, and in good condition. Let us know about any damaged packages right away. Once out of our care, we can not assure your trees or plants will grow or perform in any manner. We can only assure that you will get good inspected plants, handled well, and packaged properly.
