JUNSUKE WATARAI (1936- )

Junsuke Watarai: A twentieth century Japanese etcher, Junsuke Watarai studied art in both Tokyo and the United States. He studied under Tetsuro Komai at the Musashino Art College. Since the 1960s he has exhibited widely in renowned Japanese art institutions and galleries like Yoseido or Hanga. His fine art has been exhibited in Japan as previously noted and within the United States, Brazil, Australia and Europe since 1965. Junsuke Watarai works mainly in the technique of etchings. He has been a frequent participant in the annual CWAJ exhibitions. Junsuke Watarai is a full member of the Japanese Print Associtation
