Description

Offered here is this Amazing Antique Ten Leg Dining Room Table.  The table is in incredibly good condition, with only a few light scratches to the finish from general use.  I am unsure of the actual age of the table, but it was made by Debow’s Patent Tables, by John Smith.  It has spooled legs, that number 10 in all.  It is a extra large table, with 5 leaves that are in it in the photos, and another smaller leaf that could also be added. One of the leaves that is in the table as pictured is made of plywood, to replace one that was damaged.  The finish on this leaf is done very well, and it is virtually undetectable from the other leaves.  The table also comes with felted topper pieces to protect the finish when the table is not in use.  The table does have some areas around the edges where there is some small damage to the wood, as can be seen in the photos.  The table has so many legs because it is large enough that when it is opened at capacity, it needs the extra legs to support the center.  The table is useable as a dining room table and opens to be fit for a banquet.  It is 32” tall, 53” wide, would open to 147” at capacity, with all of the leaves in place, and 67” long without any leaves.  The leaves individually have measures of 8” wide, 11.5” wide, 19.5” wide, 19.5” wide, and 21.5” wide.  The table could be made into many different lengths between full capacity and minimum capacity, using any combination of these leaves.  It is a fabulous antique dining table, with so much potential for a home of virtually any size.
