Pippen" (hand signed "Pip, from Nappanee, Indiana printed in both red and blue ink, with the handwritten information in blue foutain pen ink.Along the very bottom front edge is printed: W8DED PRINT"The 1 cent Franklin postage stamp is noticeably a darker green than most we've come across. Perforated on 3 sides, with the right hand edge showing a dark green line.Postmarked Nov 25, 1932 Nappanee IND. it is not obscured or damaged by the postmark cancel lines.Along the left edge of the stamp a small portion of the adjoining stamp is still attached.CONDITION: Although all four corners have pin holes, and one corner is slightly creased at the pin hole, overall the card is in fair condition, no wrinkles, stains or smudges and only minor discoloration (darkening) at the very edges. The postmark and handwritten address and message written in blue fountain pen ink, is clear and readable. Please see photos.
