This exquisite gold embossed floral plate was imported from Limoges France by the Raphael Weill & Co. San Francisco.

 Raphael Weill (1837 – 1920) emigrated from France to San Francisco in 1855. Within three years he became a partner in the J. W. Davidson Dry Goods Store, one of the biggest dry good dealers in California. By 1885, the store was all his. His Store “The White House” was known for its impeccable customer service and exquisite goods imported from France. Known for its roots in the splendid style that was reflected in its Beaux Arts architecture, it boasted a lavish Parisian style tea room that was a social center, and the art galleries and lectures at the store were renowned.

 Pre-Owned In Excellent Condition. No Chips, Cracks or Stains.

 Most of my items are discovered at estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores, or other unique treasure caches. Unless otherwise stated all of the items I sell have had previous owners and are likely to show some signs of use. Many of the items are hand-painted and some blemishes were done at the time of creation and are part of the character of the piece. I do my best to describe and photograph any issues or flaws no matter how small. Some items may need to be polished, cleaned or dusted.

We offer a money back guarantee. Buyer pays all shipping unless it has been determined that the product has an undisclosed flaw. Factory sealed items must be returned with factory seal intact

I take great care in packing fragile items (See Feedback). Plenty of bubble wrap and peanuts. Unfortunately, no amount of care can guarantee that an item won’t arrive broken. If that should happen, you will receive a refund after I have received a picture of the broken item, shipping box and packing material.

I ship no later than the next business day after payment is received. If the shipping date is going to be delayed, you will receive an email stating when I will be able to ship and the reason for the delay.
