Haldane paints a portrait of the prolific playwright, poet and novelist's life and looks at the suffering that inspired his poems.
Very lightly bumped to the lower front corner, else near fine in green linen with gilt embossed titles to the spine; in a near fine dust jacket with a slight rubbed crimp to the lower front corner edge, and with a touch of rubbing to the lower spine edge; original printed $5.00 price still intact to the front inner flap.
