I am offering the old Wisconsin Scotch Dollar Month Arthur Leath Advertising Trade large aluminum jetton Token.
This is a token from Wisconsin. Founded 1903 by Arthur Leath in Elgin, Illinois. They did business in Wisconsin and other Midwest states. Going out of business late 2007. Store in Green Bay, Wis.(open 1927 to 1951). Also known to have had a store in Fond du Lac, Wis. (? to close 2007). They sold furniture, carpets, stoves, etc. From unpublished Wisconsin Token manuscript.
OBVERSE: SCOTCH / DOLLAR, looks like a Scottish soldier in uniforms.
REVERSE: SCOTCH DOLLAR MONTH / APRIL 10TH / TO / MAY 10TH / LEATH'S.
Edge: smooth.
Measurement: 38 mm or 1 in diameter.
Weight: 5.1 grams.
Condition: VF (Very Fine), see photos.
