This vintage cake breaker is marked Schneider Toledo on the inside of the chrome coming from the handle to the prongs. It measures approximately 11 inches long, the bakelite portion of the handle measures approximately 4 1/2 inches. The prongs measure approximately 3 3/8 inches long. When held so you are looking down on it the handle has a diamond look to it. The red is a nice deep color. The prongs on the slicer do have some discoloration, and a very tiny amount of rust that could be removed with some steel wool if desired. It would display nicely as is. This piece would date from circa the 1940s - 50s.
