Item description
Dexamol contains the active ingredient paracetamol at a dosage of 500 mg and is used to reduce fever and relieve pain in adults and children aged six and older.
This medication is available without a prescription.
Recommended Dosage:
- Adults and Children Aged 12 and Over:
Take 1-2 capsules every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed eight capsules in one day.
- Children Aged 6-9 Years:
Take half a capsule every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed three capsules in one day (1.5 grams per day).
- Children Aged 9-12 Years:
Take 1.5 capsules every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed four capsules in one day (2 grams daily).
Important Notes:
- Do not give capsules to children under 6 years of age.
- Never exceed the recommended dosage.
Consult a doctor if the fever lasts more than 3 days or if symptoms do not improve within 5 days of use.
