HID lamps with this rating have a very high performance, and give off the most visible light. This color is very popular as an aftermarket option. 8000 Kelvin: HID lamps with an 8,000 Kelvin rating give off a pale blue light. As a default this is the kelvin rating that most of the luxury vehicles will use (BMW, Audi, Lexus etc).
