Item description
This is a fascinating piece of vintage Americana, this gum package from 1935 issued by the national Chicle Company is a very RARE item. Cover waxed paper. set consisted of 24 "Secret Service Flashes" which were paper sheets with "Secret Ink" revealed when placed in water. These sheets featured characters "Ace Hunter and Tom Dean" Wrapper included "Secret Inked Certificate" and 39 certificates were to be mailed in order to receive "Your own supply of this priceless ink"
I can still feel the piece of gum inside. Photos are of actual item being sold..
