Vintage 1960s-1970s Cabela's G-1 STYLE and 50 similar items

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot, Steve?! How can you charge so much for this jacket?? G-1s and their many copies are as common as dirt! Well........yes and no! Like all good sellers, I do my research. This jacket dates from the late 1960s through the 1970s and perhaps 1980s; Cabela's was not too interested in helping me out with the catalog dating. With the exception of Cabela's, there is CURRENTLY nobody manufacturing a fur-lined G-1 copy. This is an EXCELLENT copy of the famous G-1 with three major differences: 1) The obvious addition of (fake) fur lining, probably fleece and with no defects that I can find. 2) The addition of a SLASH pocket, sometimes also called a "hand-warmer" pocket. This is shown in one of the photos with a plastic clamp for detail. 3) The windflap lacks the typical stenciling of "USN", "USMC" or rare-est of all, "USCG". No major or even minor flaws to report in the leather shell, it is soft and pliable. The knit elements (wrists waistband) have no snags, holes or lack of elasticity. Amazing, huh?
