Rare Classical Period of Ancient Greek Coinage
Silver Stater. 10.65gm 20mm diameter. nice thick coin 5.5mm (over 3/16 in. thick).
Nude male youth rider, reins in right hand, kentron (iron goad) in left, dismounting from horse prancing to left; interesting banker's mark on backside of horse.
Reverse: KE?EN, goat with long whiskers kneeling left, head right; long stalk above terminating in large ivy leaf, all within incuse circle.
