These DuoPower Contractor-Strength Anchors (#8?10 x 1-3/16") are designed for secure fastening in a wide range of base materials, including drywall, plaster, concrete, block, and brick. The anchors are suitable for common residential and light commercial installation tasks where reliable holding performance is required. Each anchor uses a dual-material design that automatically adapts to the base material. The gray nylon body activates the appropriate fastening method?expansion, folding, or knotting?while the red expansion wings provide added stability and support. This combination helps ensure proper seating and consistent performance during installation. Installation is straightforward: drill a hole with sufficient depth (at least twice the anchor length), insert the anchor flush with the surface, and drive the included screw. The design provides clear installation feedback, allowing the installer to feel when the anchor is seated correctly. The package includes Phillips pan-head screws for simplified installation, eliminating the need to source compatible fasteners separately. These anchors accept No. 6?10 screw sizes and are supplied with a 1/4" drill bit for convenience.
