Ruth Schloss was born in Germany in 1922 and moved to Israel as a teenage. She studied at Bezalel art school in Jerusalem and in Grande Chaumiere Academy in Paris.
Ruth Schloss is considered one of the prominent painters in the Israeli art world and her work is also known around the world.
