I am offering gilt United States US Presidential Medal 26mm George Washington Gold plated medallion.
George Washington was the dominant military and political leader of the new United States of America from 1775 to 1799. He led the American victory over Great Britain in the American Revolutionary War as commander-in-chief of the Continental Army in 1775–1783, and he presided over the writing of the Constitution in 1787.
OBVERSE: Depicts the bust of George Washington, facing right with the legend: 1789 presided U.S.A. 1797” on top and “George Washington” on bottom.
REVERSE: same as on Obverse.
Measurement: 26 mm in diameter.
Condition: VF (Very Fine), with some loss of gilt, see photos.
