'Tis the season

No, not that season, I'm talking about the season for introductions! I wouldn't want to be left out, so I'll be the next to jump in; but before I do, a quick preface is in order. Those of you with good memories - and sharp eyes - may be a little confused. "Wait a minute," you might be saying to yourself - "I've spotted (scroll down) this (scroll way down) guy before - he can't just introduce himself now, after all this time! Next thing you know we'll be seeing introductions from Otto, ~~Bizzy~~ She Who Shall Not Be Mentioned, or even the man himself!" We'll, better late than never, right? So without further ado (okay, maybe with just a touch of ado):

Hello there - I'm Jordan Phillips - it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm Bonanzle's newest developer (don't you fret, qualification of the word "new" is imminent, possibly as soon as the next sentence). My official capacity as a full-time developer here at Bonanzle is the "new" part of the equation - I've been flying under the radar for a couple years, working now and then on a variety of different projects. You may remember me by a few of my greatest hits: some early user-facing pages, search optimizations and features, IM booth chat relay, and much more. While Ryan focuses on all of your interactions with the site, I'll be working to make sure that everything that happens behind the scenes is fast and reliable.

When not attending Bonanzle Ups - okay, I missed this year's, but it's the only one I've ever missed - I enjoy a rousing game of racquet ball, running, good indie flicks, programming, and a good fantasy novel (I've ordered these from least to most nerdy, for easy digestion). I find all of these exciting activities even more enjoyable with the participation of my lovely wife; we claim one furry 10 year old as our only dependent.

I'm extremely excited to be a part of Bonanzle - it's been an amazing journey so far, and I can't wait to see what else is to come.
