WORKS OK BUT WHEN POWER IS ON, IT HAS LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE, in right speaker there is a light background hiss (sort of like the sound from an air vent, or like when a radio station is off air) it is a consistent low level and does NOT increase when volume is turned up so it becomes unnoticeable when music is up over that level, (unless you are right next to it listening to very quiet music. ) (We measured the noise with a sound level meter and it is about 52db 2-3 feet away so not real loud, and was lower than the gentle air sound from our heat register when furnace/heat is on.) But we want to point all this out so you are aware and can decide if this is a deal breaker for you. Or If you like a quiet gentle white noise to sleep to, this may actually be desired. This would be great for your garage, pool, deck, etc too! Cosmetically could use a little additional cleaning/ has some paint stains etc. There is also a cutout on side toward back where it appears a switch used to be, (see picts) we do not know the history or what that was for. We did not take it apart to further investigate. No remote but you can find for under $10 if you need one. We connected 3 ft of wire as an antenna (not included) and picked up AM and FM stations very well We played a couple CDs and they played fine We tested Aux in and that worked fine too.
