There are other good ones made, but aside from custom fillet knives, hard to find any made in the US that match the quality and the durability of the US made, Uncle Henry 167UH. This knife is 18 years old at the minimum and could be as old as 40 years. Yet it is just a sharp just as durable as if it had just been made at the old Schrade factory in New York last week! One of the favorite features on these knives are the fine blade tips that allow the fishermen to pierce the tough skin and scales of the fish.
