It is made from 18K WHITE GOLD and it is stamped 18K. This mounting will hold a PRONG-SET center diamond that measures between 7 to 8.5 mm or approx. 1.25 to 2.5 carats in diamond weight. The ring is detailed with 36 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS of G color, VS to SI1 clarity that weigh approx. .55 ctw. The head of the ring measures 20 mm across by 13 mm wide and it sits 6.2 mm high off the finger to where the bottom of the center diamond will be set. The ring has a beautifully engraved pattern on the lower shank and the ring is a size 7-1/4. The total weight is a solid feeling 5.3 grams. I have a heck of time trying to get good photos of this ring. The dark lines that you see are the cut out work or refections of the black camera. The photos just don?t show this mounting's beauty.
