Restrike on earlier coin as evidence on the reverse. Nikomedia, Struck c. 611-614 A.D.
Obverse: dd NN ??RACLI?S ?T ?RA CONST P P AVG--translation: "Domini Nostri (Our Lords) Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine Paters Patriae (fathers of their country) Augusti". Heraclius
and Heraclius Constantine standing facing, each holding globus
cruciger, cross above between them, star or pellet to left.
Reverse: Large M, ANNO to left, christogram (? Chi-Rho ~ the monogram formed from the first two letters of Christ in Greek) above, ? below (officina), Regnal Year II(?) to right, mintmark illegible.
