Or you risk incompatibilities or lack of functionality There is another VERY similar but incompatible version A GREAT way to replace a screen that is: Missing Damaged Non-functional Etc Does not include mounting hardware Does not include wiring Does not include instructions Programming at a GM dealer may be required If so, that is their doing, not ours Buying the part through them is no different Your VIN will be required prior to shipment Failure to provide it implies cancellation We do not ask for programming reasons We don't do programming We merely need it for the warranty records 6 month warranty Returns are not accepted It is not an item that should make unnecessary trips DETAILS This is a factory original 8 inch GM driver information touchscreen. It is from a New Old Stock assembly line leftover dash trim-piece that was never installed. It is in excellent condition because it has protective plastic over it. A 6 month warranty is included, for your peace of mind. It is GM part number 85589516. We know it is used in bezels with GM part numbers of 86820219, 86825911, 86825910, 86825909, and 86825908, at a minimum. Match one of these to your part number to ensure compatibility! Seriously!! There is another version that is VERY similar but is incompatible. (It has three ribbon cables along the bottom edge instead of the one cable this one has. See our other listings for that version.) You would use this if your screen needs replaced. (Defective, damaged, etc.) The cable to connect it is not included. (You should already have it.) Mounting hardware is not included. (You should already have it.) Instructions for installation are not included. You shouldn't be attempting repairs/installs if you're not qualified. Returns are not accepted, so make sure you match your part number. We are not responsible if you purchase without checking that first. The Compatibility List is just a starting point and there is no substitute for common sense and basic research. We will require your VIN prior to shipment for the warranty records. Failure to provide it implies cancellation. You can save some back and forth by including it with your order or sending it in a separate message. Programming at a GM dealership may be required. That has not been reported by previous customers but we put that disclaimer on all electronics so the only possible surprises are good ones. If programming is required, we have no control over it and the same requirement would exist if you purchased from the dealer (for twice the price.)
