Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print ?tsuki Plain in Kai Province Utagawa Hiroshige
A framed print of the Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print titled "?tsuki Plain in Kai Province" (Kai ?tsuki no hara), created by the renowned artist Utagawa Hiroshige (And? Hiroshige). The artwork is part of Hiroshige's famous series, Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (Fuji Sanj?-Rokkei). It depicts a view of the ?tsuki plain with Mount Fuji visible in the background. The foreground features various autumn wildflowers, including pampas grass, yellow patrinia, and bellflowers, which are traditionally known as the Seven Herbs of autumn (nanakusa). The original print was created in April 1858.
