Item description
JURASSIC TODILTO LIMESTONE
Natural Uranium Rock
Weight: 8.9 Oz. Radioactivity: 41,200. CPM
Cost: $37.00 plus $12.80 shipping
This type of rock is the most unique type found
anywhere at the Jurassic Canyon uranium field,
located 18 miles NW of Grants NM. It is
very unique because geologists agree that it is
found nowhere else in the entire world! It is
a special sedimentary rock that developed at
the ancient Jurassic Canyon because of its
special arrangement of water-flow channels
and its large centrally located body of water:
the Ambrosia Lake. I call the JTL rocks the
"DINO FOSSIL ROCKS" because radioactive
dinosaur fossils are more likely found in JTL
rocks than in any of the four other uranium
mineral types found here. The other four are:
/ Carnotite / Coffinite /
/ Tyuyamunite / Uraninite /
During June 2021, I found two small radioactive
skulls of juvenile Velociraptor dinosaurs; they were
embedded in a shelf of apparently undisturbed
JTL rock at a hollowed-out rock enclave that
appeared to have been undisturbed for many
millions of years. Both fossils were highly
radioactive: one measured 190,000. CPM, the
other measured 99,000. CPM.
One of the photos shows my most expensive
Ludlum: the Ludlum Model 500 geiger-scaler,
used for calibrating geiger counters of any brand.
The Ludlum 500 ensures that the CPM values
given in my Bonanza ads are highly accurate!
