If you're just looking for a shredder for residential junk mail with your personal info on it, this will do the job. It's too slow for marathon shredding sessions, and a bit loud, but I've filled a couple bins with it and it hasn't jammed yet, and the shreds should be fine enough to be reasonably secure.
My main complaint is a questionable design decision on the switch: the setting you usually want is the middle of three settings and it's annoyingly difficult to flick from off to on without flicking the switch all the way to reverse mode. Still, that's a small complaint. Overall this is a fine shredder.
