About the item: From the 1993 DC Comics Cosmic Teams trading card set, this 3-card puzzle set features the work of Tom Grummett. It is in excellent condition and will be shipped with the utmost care. All three cards are signed by hand by Grummett and both the front and reverse of the cards are shown in the scans. Please note- the signatures are real. They are the actual, hand-signed signatures of Grummett. They are not pre-printed signatures on the cards. About the artist: Grummett began his career pencilling and finishing George Perez's layouts on the Teen Titans and helped Wolfman revitalize the title in the late 1980's early 1990's after Perez departed the title. He went on to have a long association with Superman and his extended family of titles, making significiant contributions to the "Death of Superman" storyline, co-creating Superboy (Conner Kent), and illustrating a segment of Superman: The Wedding Album, where - in their 58th year love triangle with only two people - Lois and Clark finally marry. He also illustrated numerous trading cards for DC Comics and, while the majority of his work has been for DC, he's also illustrated for Image Comics and Marvel (drawing X-Men Forever).
