VINTAGE BAKELITE BUTTON HOOK CIRCA 1930S Vintage 1930s button hook Yellow and Green mottled handle Three black stripes on front near end of handle Buttonhook Made in USA Hand Wash This vintage button hook would date circa 1930s - 1940s. The handle color is sort of a mixture of yellow and green swirled together, like they just added the colors left at the end of the day to finish out that days products. The overall length is 5 1/2 inches, the length of the handle is 3 inches. The handle is 1/4 inch thick, and approximately 5/8 inches wide at the end. The metal hook portion is in good condition, with some minor wear. This would have been part of a grooming set way back when. It would display nicely with other vintage grooming items from the early 20th century.
